Rabeeha, studied Architecture, now working in the restoration of the Walled city of Lahore. Photographed at the Lahore Literary Festival. There was tension as the Festival was held right after a bombing and the city was under Red Alert. Personally, I was really stressed.
She told me : “My university was a super liberal bubble… you will see someboby wearing a Burqa hanging out with someone wearing a mini skirt. You can do anything, interact with people of all kinds, this is the original idea of Pakistan”
