The new husband stands beside his wife..At the camp of Tash Seri (Mustafa Qol's camp). Ikhbal, 15, wearing a white veil, is kept hidden being a large red cloth, inside a yurt, where she will stay for a few days. She will sleep here, be fed here etc..With Ikhbal, the recently married woman moving for the first time to her husband's camp..She just exchanged the red veil of the unmarried girl for the white veil signifying that she is now a married woman...Trekking through the high altitude plateau of the Little Pamir mountains, where the Afghan Kyrgyz community live all year, on the borders of China, Tajikistan and Pakistan.
