They met on the train. A mix of uighur students and workers return back to Kashgar after spending time in Hotan for work. Train is the cheapest means of transportation in this part of China. It cost about 20 Yuan to travel from Hotan to Kashgar (about 4 times cheaper than bus). Life inside the train - mostly Muslim Uighur people ride this train.
